Internationally acclaimed Balloon Modeller Flash aka Rupert Appleyard created a Winter Wonderland Installation here at the pub during December 2009.

He was in residence for three days, during opening times, and people could come and watch him creating his masterpiece.

A recent visitor to the Gardeners Rest had been Poppycock the Elf, here to promote this exciting event.

All donations went to the BBC Sheffield Kids' Scanner Appeal.
